Casey C. Campbell is a 40 -year-old trial attorney living in Rockwall, Texas and is running to serve the people of the 4th Congressional District of Texas. With a history of five generations living in the District, Casey's roots in the 4th run deep. Casey has the traditional conservative, small-government beliefs true Republicans value, and the youthful energy and knowledge necessary for advancing these beliefs in Washington. His background is unmatched and speaks for itself, having been trained by some of the most respected conservative minds, and at some of the best institutions our country has to offer, including Texas A&M University's George H.W. Bush School of Government, Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. with The Fund for American Studies, and Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
During his time at Texas A&M, Casey worked in the Washington, D.C. office of Congressman Sam Johnson (Tex. CD3). Congressman Johnson was one of our most patriotic heroes in the modern era of Congress, having spent seven years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam’s “Hanoi Hilton” prisoner camp. He is also known as one of the best, most well-respected conservative Texas Republicans in congressional history. Casey's time with Congressman Johnson allowed him to learn conservative policy development first-hand from one of our long-serving leaders in the party.
After graduating from Texas A&M, Casey continued his education at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. studying Business, Government, and Public Policy through The Fund for American Studies (aka TFAS). TFAS is the education arm of a conservative think tank and offers transformational programs that teach the principles of limited government, free-market economics, and honorable leadership to students and young professionals. While attending Georgetown, Casey also worked in the Government Affairs Office of Koch Industries learning market-based economic policy directly from the biggest champions of limited government - the Koch family's team.
Casey then went on to obtain his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis. As part of his legal education, Casey had the exceptionally rare opportunity to study under the direct instruction of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia - the absolute authority on Constitutional Originalism. Appointed to the Court by President Reagan, Justice Scalia’s principled conservative interpretation of the Constitution was beyond compare and even his fiercest adversaries praised his legal brilliance.
Immediately after graduating law school, Casey moved back to Texas, passed the Bar Exam, and has been a practicing Texas trial attorney for over a decade. As a lawyer, Casey has focused his career on representing doctors, hospitals, nurses, and other healthcare providers in their professional legal needs. As a trial attorney in the complex medical world, Casey has honed the skills of analyzing difficult subjects and knowing how to ask the tough questions. This skill has earned Casey a number of awards and recognition as an accomplished attorney, including being voted by his peers as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Casey's training and education are unparalleled and have prepared him to serve the people of the 4th Congressional district with the highest degree of skill, efficiency, and effectiveness possible. He has the energy, passion, and experience to effect real change in DC, and is ready to serve.
